You already like us!

Ok this is just amazing!!! This is our first week announcing our upcoming podcast and we have so many people already interested!!! Ok now I am getting a bit self-conscious. I hope we can keep you all interested and entertained until September when we release the first episode. It would be so amazing to have this many people hear it.

All I can say is this podcast is a labour of love and we are hard at work getting everything together. I can tell you I have spent well over 12 solid hours researching and writing my notes for episode 1. I am already researching and writing for episodes 2 and 3. Just in doing this research I have found some tangents that will lead into future episodes as well.

Currently the plans are to record multiple episodes each month so when we release in September we will release an episode every two weeks. Then we will keep recording, then rinse and repeat. Maybe along the way we can give some sneak peeks with audio clips or maybe some videos. We will see how it unfolds as we go along. So stay tuned for regular updates as we continue along.

What do we mean by Murdery? Well...ummm...murder but that is not all. It's going to be about murder and other true crime. It might be a murder story, or a missing person's cold case, or just about any other true crime case. Whatever type of true crime we decide to cover, I can promise you a wild ride!

What do we mean by Nerdery?

Its a pretty broad subject from our perspective.

It's not just about Comic Books, Dungeons and Dragons, or Star Trek.

It's about those things, but its also about so much more. We will be journeying into music genres , literature, theater production choices, art, film, and the aforementioned Comic books, Dungeons and Dragons, and Star Trek.

We are going to be diving into the nooks and crannies that make life great. I hope we can introduce you to new passions you didn't know were out there.

I for one am excited to explore it with you.

First logo is up!!!

There’s my “!!!” again. Everything is just so exciting right now!!! Howdy all! We have our very first design of our logo up on our main page and on our social media pages. We also have over 70 people who have “Liked” our Facebook page.

We now have Social Media

Hello all! We now have Social Media for the podcast. At the bottom of the page there are links to our Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. There is very little content right now (more like next to none) but it is a start. While I don’t know if there will be enough to discuss to give daily updates I will certainly try. Everything right now is so exciting and new and BUSY. There is a lot to this. Not that we thought it would be a cake walk or anything.

We have officially launched!!!

Welcome to the official launch of the Nerdery and Murdery website!!! I think I use “!!!” too much. :)

Anyway, as we start down this path we will give updates on where we are on the release of our very first episode and how things are going along the way. Maybe if we can be entertaining enough here first then we will actually have listeners on day 1. Pretty sure it is just going to be us though. Hopefully we like the sound of our own voices.

So there it is, the website has launched, we have our first blog entry, and we are moving along. For anyone who choses to follow us from day 1 (or 2 or 3 or 4 or whatever), we will try and post often. Thank you to ANYONE who is reading this and whether you like what we are doing or not…well…ummm…thank you anyway. :) So see you soon!
